Building should be exciting, not stressful.

How we work, from first call to handover

Here's how we keep every project clear, calm and on track.

Personal Guidance From Day One

The scariest part of any build is the unknown: not knowing what happens next, what it costs, or whether you'll be kept in the loop. We take that away with a clear process and honest communication at every step.
01.
Initial Consultation
We meet to talk through your goals, ideas, budget and timeline. It's our chance to understand your vision and map out the best path forward for your project.
02.
Design & Planning
Whether you have existing plans or are starting from scratch, we help coordinate the design, collaborate with consultants and manage the consenting process, so every detail is carefully considered before construction begins.
03.
Pricing & Scope
Once the plans are developed, we prepare a detailed proposal outlining the scope of works, inclusions, allowances and estimated costs, so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
04.
Contract & Pre-Construction
Before work begins, we finalise the contract, confirm timelines, organise materials and coordinate trades for a smooth, well-planned start to construction.
05.
Construction
This is where your vision comes to life. We manage every stage of the build while keeping you informed with regular communication, progress updates and onsite meetings.
06.
Practical Completion & Handover
Once construction is complete, we walk through the finished project with you, address any remaining items, and hand over your home ready to be enjoyed.
07.
Ongoing Support
Our relationship doesn't end at handover. We're here to answer questions, provide support and stand behind our workmanship, backed by your 10-year guarantee, long after the project is complete.

Answers to Your Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process of building or renovating with Parris Builds?

Our process runs from a first consultation and site visit, to a detailed quote, refining the details and selections, managing your consent, signing the contract, and then pre-construction and the build, through to handover with a 10-year guarantee. We keep it clear and structured so you always know what happens next.

Do you manage the council consent process?

Yes. We manage the consent process on your behalf, coordinating with your designers, engineers and the council. Consents are where many projects stall, so having a licensed builder handle them for you keeps everything moving and takes a stressful job off your plate.

How will you keep me updated during the build?

Clear communication is one of the things our clients value most. You will have a single point of contact, regular updates, and prompt replies, so you always know where your project is at. We would rather over-communicate than leave you wondering.

When do I pay, and how does the payment schedule work?

Payments are tied to progress through the build, set out clearly in your building contract before we start, rather than a large sum demanded up front. For any residential contract over $30,000 we also provide the written disclosure statement the law requires, so everything is transparent from day one.
